A man was killed Friday in a traffic crash on the westbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in the Hawthorne area. The man was injured about 5:30 a.m. near Crenshaw Boulevard, and he died at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. Information was not immediately available on the man's identity. One westbound freeway lane was closed in the area while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
